I have kindly accepted to be the Patron of La French Week and endorse all the events associated with this initiative from the amazing team at Le Festival. Brisbane is once again paving the way for French events by hosting the now inaugural La French Week. Le Festival, in association with Alliance Francaise de Brisbane and the French Australian Chamber of Commerce, is driving this wonderful series of events. La French Week is the first ever French Week in Australia, and is the only one of its kind with all French associations in the vicinity collaborating to ensure its success. I am proud to support such a vibrant and connected French community event.

The Alliance Française de Brisbane is proud to be the institutional partner of the 2018 edition of Le Festival. We are fully supportive of Le Festival's initiative to further express and celebrate French culture in Brisbane during La French Week. We're delighted to support and be apart such a wonderful initiative that enables intercultural connection between France and Australia on a level unprecedented in Queensland. Le Festival team is doing a very good job to express and celebrate French culture in a festive and high profile event in Brisbane. La French Week is an important milestone in our yearly cultural program schedule as the Alliance Française de Brisbane will be organizing events in their premises in West End throughout the week.

It is my great pleasure to confirm that the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce in Queensland is delighted to support Le Festival and its “La French Week” initiative. Le Festival and its partners have helped develop a more culturally diverse Brisbane community. This initiative is unique in Queensland in that it brings together so many different parts of the community in a collaborate to promote French culture and facilitate intercultural connection with Australia. We look forward to seeing the 2018 edition, and of course, to contributing to the success of both!
